Shapes ⭕

Welcome back to my my maths blog. 

Since I have been in my class this week we have been working on shapes for maths. We learnt what platonic solids are 2d shapes, edges, vertices, faces and ployhendra and non polyhendra. We then had to make a copy of this google drawing and then we had to drag the shapes and we had to see how many edges and vertices ect there were on the shape. Then we had to do a 2nd task which was called "cube creation" For that task we got multi cubes from my school and we had to copy the pattern that was on the screen and them once we made the shape we had to turn it into a shape. Reading (roahld dahl)

Hello.

This week is reading goal was "visualizing using all of the senses, and talk about how this enriches meaning" Our learn we had to do was watch a video and give some insight into how authors use words and phrases to help us visualize. Then our create was to read Roahld Darl and then create a DLO (digital learning object) and pick a sentence and phrase and then create the image you picked from the sentence. (i'm not quite finished)

Welcome back to another writing week 10 term 2 blog post.

This writing goal I did was "use langues features specific to the purpose of the text" our learn we had to do was watch some clips about structure and elements, langues elements, orientation and the lastly the problem. Then we could make a copy of a narrative writing template to plan our short story we are going to write about. In the short story we had to include metaphors, simple complex sentences, similes and more.

Hello.

This weeks blog is about maths. This maths learn create share was about learning multiplication and division using the strategy place value and reversibility. Our create was to use a amazing DLO (digital learning object) that shows my understanding of place value and reversibility when solving multiplication and vision problems. Hello welcome to my week 10 reading bog post.

This weeks goal for my reading was- Synthesising-think while reading, pick up new information, and come up with new ideas and new thinking. Our learn was to read a text called "how to be normal", then our create was to write some ideas on a template about before me reading the book and what it would be about and then as I read the text and lastly what my new understanding was of the character. Using complex sentences makes great writing piece.

This weeks 9 writing goal was focus on how we can shape ideas for effect and make changes to our writing to make it AMAZING. We watched some videos that were on complex sentences, simple compound and punctuation complex sentences. Then for our create we chose a piece of my narrative writing I wrote last week and then using my learning around complex sentences and what makes a great narrative and changing it around.

This weeks 7 writing goal was "confidently shapes ideas for effect" The writing was about either writing a story about a positive or a negative story. My create task DLO was to write any story and create a chuck of writing at least 9 sentences that has either positive negative intent. The story I wrote about was out of blocks. My story was a positive story. Here is a idea of a image of what I wrote about.

The reason why I chose this image is because I love sport and one of the sport I do is athletics and I thought this would be a good idea to write about because I know the feeling of that image.

This week in week 8 for reading we had to read at least 3 books. We had to do task that the teachers made and pick 3 task. The task I did was a diary entry, design a book cover and make a A-Z list. The book I read was a Christmas book from Ella and Olivia. Here is my 3 task I did.

This weeks maths was to solve lots of problems using place value,rounding and compensating, doubling and halving, reversibility and proportional. We got to choose if we wanted to start doing the beginner problem, stepping up problems or confident and I chose to do stepping up one. There was 10 problems.
