Winter sports

HI.
On Thursday it was winter sports for my School and other Primary Schools. We went on the bus and arrived at Hagly Park my netball teams walked to the courts. Once my A team got to the court we started warming up. For the first half I played wind defends (WD) and then 2nd I went off, 3rd quarter I went into Gold defends (GD) and the last quarter I went off. The reason why I was off the most of the time because I played half game because everyone in my team has to have a half game so I decided to go. We played hill view and won 17-9.

In my hub we have been working on this problem solving called stairs to squares. The problem that we had to solve was challenging and I struggled a bit but I learnt that it was good to struggle because it means you are learning. We had to make a screen record of how we got the answer and what we did to solve it.

Hi!

This week for my reading we had to do a task that was about Visualise using all of the senses. We had to make a poem that had 5 senses which were hear,smell,taste,see and touch. I found it kinda of challenging to do a poem that had all of those senses in it.

Breakout edu

Hello, welcome to my blog post.

This week my hub (class) has be doing breakout edu. Breakout edu is when you try and escape from a room. The edu was based on a movie called wonder. Wonder is when a boy makes new friend at school. The teachers put all the kids in groups. My group did it on Tuesday and we escaped with 26 minutes left. My group worked really well as a team and we could of done better if we were talking about who was going to find what.

Hello welcome to my blog post.
Today I will be talking to you about Winter sports. Winter sport is when we play other primary schools. My school plays at Hagley Park on Thursdays. The sports are netball,hockey,rugby and football. I play netball, I chose netball because I love netball and I play it every Saturday. There are A,B and C teams. I am in the A. My team has won all our games so far and the A team had a tournament which was held and Hagley park and we won all of our games. It was challenging but we all worked as a team.

Teacher's strike

Hello.
On the 29th of May most New Zealand school teachers went to go on strike. The teachers are going on strike for a day because they are not getting paid enough but although they are not getting enough time in the class. I think it is good for the teachers to go on strike because they deserve to get more money and to have enough time in the class room and they take there time up for us to help us learn.
