This weeks writing we did was just focusing on our speech! in my last blog post I talked a bit about my speech and what I was writing it on so go check it out if you haven't. So this blog wont talk about that much but all I have to say that I have finished my speech!

Maths growth mindset

Hello welcome back to my math blog post.

This math week goal was use multiplication and division strategies to compare fractions sets with whole numbers. Our task was to work with a buddie and the teacher put me with Mostyn and I think we worked really well. The math we did was fractions and we had to use strategies with whole numbers and how to do them. Then we had to do a another create task to write in the task some positive and negative words, here is my task.

Hi welcome to my blog post. 

This weeks writing goal was "create content that is concise and relevant to the curriculum task"  we focused on last week planning our speeches and finding information about your speech topic. We also started a little bit of our starting sentence with negative intense, here is one of the sentence "you'll be astonished to know that 17,000 fewer children die each say, but more than six million children still die before their fifth birthday each year"

 Hello welcome to my math blog. This math goal I was doing "use multiplication and division strategies to compare fractions sizes with whole numbers" 

For our create task we had to go with a pair and work through the following questions like for example 

"Jermaine brought a whole bunch of nerd ropes to share with his mates. He cut each rope into sixths, he ended up with 41 pieces. How many ropes did he buy?"

 Hello welcome back to my term 4 week 3 reading.

This weeks reading goal was "use questions to challenge the text, questions the author, establish the authenticity of the text and state opinions" We  had to chose to read a book about either "why kids shouldn't eat junk food, space exploration-money matters, should dog's be banned from the beach and way more but I chose to read about why kids shouldn't eat junk food. The book was about how the author was debating one one side to the story and was being bios.

Speech planing blog

Hello welcome back to my writing blog post.

This week for writing this term we are starting speeches, I don't really like reading speeches out but I like to write about then. I got choose what the topic speech I was going to write about out of good health and well-being, zero hunger, no poverty and quality education and so I chose good health and well-being. We started planning out speech on a doc and write some rhetorical question and some facts about health well-being. I learnt more than I had about good health well-being. Do you think robots are going to take over the world?

Hello!

This week for reading the goal was "make connections between texts and own life experience, using more sophisticated texts.Think while reading, pick up new ideas thinking" 

We read a book called humans an endangered species. The author was making a point in the book that we shouldn't  have robots taking over humans. For our create task we had to get with a buddie and screen castify and answer the questions that the teacher gave us and then write some information about the text. Here is what me and my buddie wrote.

hello welcome to my blog post!
